The Eugene Mission is one of the largest homeless shelters in the state of Oregon, providing 83% of crisis overnight housing in Lane County. The Eugene Mission provides emergency overnight housing for single men, single women and mothers with children. The Eugene Mission is a residential program and works with each guest to identify barriers and issues resulting in homelessness. Each guest has a navigator and works with staff and volunteers with a daily schedule of like skills and sober recreation. Guests may seek help with obtaining identification, medical and social security benefits, veterans benefits and navigation of housing lists and mental health services. In addition, the Eugene Mission Life Change Program is an intensive 12-18-month residential addiction relapse prevention program available after completing an intake application and interview process to determine suitability. For non-Mission residence, assistance is available through partner organizations with the Eugene Mission providing resources such as food boxes, clothing (baby to adult) and move-in assistance which can include furniture and household essentials from our donation warehouse to set up house and home for people obtaining housing.
